How to Change the Gas Tank Fully close the tank valve by turning clockwise then turn the coupling nut counterclockwise until the regulator assembly detaches. Remove the empty gas tank out of the body of the heater. Ensure the regulator switch is off before inserting it to the valve outlet. Push the regulator down into the gas valve. Hand-tighten the coupling nut clockwise until it comes to a full stop. Firmly tighten by hand only. Note: The propane gas and cylinder are sold separately. Safety Tips: For outdoor use only.
